The third annual HES - ESS North Carolina Showcase – Celebrating Excellence in Education, will again be

the largest education celebration in the history of North Carolina. The 2025 event will be May 17 in the Mac Gray Auditorium in Statesville. The North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities thanks the NC Department of Public Instruction for their assistance in developing this event. Tickets will go on sale in March.

 

The Showcase will recognize all 2024-2025 major education award winners, including:
 Burroughs Wellcome Fund Teacher of the Year

  Wells Fargo Principal of the Year

  Raleigh Dingman School Board Member of the Year

  A Craig Phillips Superintendent of the Year
 State Champions of all major scholastic competitions

  Milken Award Winner

We will also present many awards including:
 NCASA Student of the Year
 Fine Arts Educator of the Year
 Humanities Educator of the Year
 Specialized Instructional Support Educator of the Year
 NCASA Challenge Cup
 Joe Childers Scholastic Cup

The event will feature live performances from all performing arts State Champions in dance, show choir, and a cappella.

 

The event will be preceded by a Red Carpet walk followed by the Showcase at 7:00.

 

The North Carolina Showcase will be May 17, 2025 presented in the 900 seat Mac Gray Auditorium in Statesville. Many North Carolina leaders are expected to be present to recognize these students and educators for their accomplishments. Continue to watch this site for updates as the event continues to develop.
